Welcome to Cabarete, on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, better known as the Surfer's Paradise. Why is that? Because the Eastern Trade Winds make 8 out 10 days great for kite and wind surfing throughout the year. However this is not the only thing to do around: the nice, clean beach and warm water of the ocean are appealing to us all. Imagine restaurants with local flair, shops with handcrafted artifacts and you get the picture. Because of the proximity of the Cordillera Septentrional Mountain range the hurricanes never hit the Northern Coast as they do in other parts of the Caribbean.

If you decide to come over you will discover warm people, always smiling and pacing their life to the bachata rhythm of this tropical island.

Der internationale Badeort Cabarete liegt an der Nordküste der Dominikanischen Republik nur 20 km vom intern. Flughafen Puerto - Plata entfernt. Es wird auch das "Surferparadies" genannt wegen seiner schönen Lage an einer 3km breiten riffgeschützten Badebucht die alle Arten des Wassersports ganzjährig erlaubt. Der Ostwind weht hier in 8 von10 Tagen dass heisst es gibt immer eine angenehme Brise am Strand und genug Wind fur die Surfer. Das besondere Flair dieses Ortes wird durch die bunte Mischung internationaler Touristen , Hotels, Appartmentanlagen, Boutiquen und Restaurants aller Art geprägt. Weil das Cordillera Septentrional Gebirge sich ganz in der Nähe befindet, wird die Nordküste vor starken Hurricanes geschützt.
Am Tag genießen die Strand-, Sonnen- und Wasserfreunde den Strand, Abends kommen die Gaumen und Musikliebhaber auf Ihre Kosten, wenn die vielen Strandrestaurants ihre Tische mit Kerzenlicht unter den Palmen aufstellen.
